What cards get you into Amex lounges?

Here are the personal cards that offer Amex lounge access, along with some of the other travel rewards and perks they offer.
  • Platinum Card® from American Express.
  • Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card.
  • Centurion® Card from American Express.
  • The Centurion® Lounge.
  • The International American Express lounges.

To access the prestigious Centurion Lounges in 2026, you must hold one of the following premium American Express cards: The Platinum Card®, The Business Platinum Card®, or the invite-only Centurion® Card (The Black Card). Additionally, the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve and Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business cards grant access, but only when you are flying on a same-day Delta-operated or Delta-marketed flight. In 2026, Amex has enforced a strict "guest policy" for Platinum cardholders: unless you spend at least $75,000 annually on your card, you must pay a fee (currently $50 per adult) to bring a guest into the lounge. Centurion (Black) cardholders still enjoy complimentary guest access. These lounges are famous for their chef-curated menus, premium cocktails, and spa services, making them significantly more luxurious than standard airline lounges. Just remember to bring your physical card, a valid government ID, and a confirmed same-day boarding pass, as "digital cards" or photos of the card are rarely accepted for entry at the front desk.
