What carriages are First Class on LNER?

From north end to south end, our trains are configured as follows: 10 carriage sets are formed coach A, B and C standard class, D both standard and first class, E first class, F, G and H standard class, K both standard and first class and M first class.

First Class tickets offer you compliementary food and drink (including an alchoholic tipple from 11:30am (when available). We serve three menus depending on the train you are travelling on, but our drinks are always the same. Cheers!

All the carriages have a number on them with first class usually being carriages 1 and 2. They could be at either end of the train depending on which end is driving. Just look for the carriage number on the side of each carriage.

Your carriage and seat number are printed on your ticket and these correspond to the numbers on the platform and on board the train.
