Elon Musk's companies include SpaceX, Tesla, X (formerly Twitter), The Boring Company, Neuralink, and xAI. The newest Elon Musk company is xAI; it was formed in July 2023 as a rival to ChatGPT creator OpenAI. Musk was one of the original founders of OpenAI but resigned from the board in 2018.
