One of the most popular things to do at Epcot's World Showcase, you know aside from all that pesky learning and culture, is what's called Drinking Around The World. A challenge where guests aim to have a drink at every one of World Showcase's eleven countries in one day.

The Italy Pavilion is an Italian-themed pavilion that is part of the World Showcase, within Epcot at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, United States. Its location is between the Germany pavilion and The American Adventure.

The Moroccan Pavilion at Epcot is the only Pavilion in the World Showcase where the country's government helped to design the space. The Moroccan Pavilion at Epcot first opened on September 7, 1984, and the pavilion is the only one at Epcot that was fully sponsored by a government and not by a corporation.

Let's get one thing out of the way: there has never been a country that was removed from Epcot. All the countries that were originally there opening day — or added later on — remain in the park. The closest we get to a “removal” is perhaps Israel and Africa.

Yep, you can purchase and wander with alcohol in Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios, but you can't leave the park with it. Many guests are intimately familiar with that “chug at the gate” policy.

And the World Showcase area of the park is typically open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., so you have less than an hour to down each one. (We'll still give you full credit if you decide to spare your liver and share each cocktail with a friend.)

Despite original intentions, most of the pavilions are not funded by their home countries. Walt Disney World intended for countries to pay for the construction and maintenance of World Showcase pavilions for a 10-year land lease period.

Just because you're drinking around the world doesn't mean you have to drink alcohol in each country. There are a lot of AMAZING non-alcoholic drinks to be had at World Showcase. The Frozen Mint Tea in Morocco comes to mind. It's just a little over $5 (the boozy version costs $10 more!).

Spain Pavilion There also would have been an additional attraction as well as shopping and dining experiences. The market place would have featured both the new and old of Spain. The pavilion was never built because Disney was not able to find a sponsor.
