A guest's age is established upon the first date of sailing. This age limit will be waived for children sailing with their parents or guardians in connecting staterooms; for underage married couples; and for active duty members of the United States or Canadian military.
Kids sail free is a limited time promotional offer that allows for guests 12 or younger to receive a free cruise fare. This offer is only available during active dates. To secure a Kids Sail Free promotion on a reservation, all applicable names and dates of birth must be given when making a reservation.

In this type of environment, guests can meet other people, make new friends and enjoy adult company. The “adults only” hotels are ideal for romantic getaways for couples. The location of these hotels are usually in areas away from the big cities, creating a quiet environment free from the usual noise.
Norwegian Cruise Line also has three adults-only outdoor areas for guests 18 and older. These areas can be found on Norwegian's Bliss, Joy, Escape, Getaway, and Breakaway ships. The outdoor area is perfect for enjoying a cocktail and soaking up the sun without the loud music or screaming children.
