All strike action planned for December 13,14, 16 and 17 will go ahead as planned, as well as further strike action from 6pm on Christmas Eve to 6am to 27 December. The new strike dates have been announced for the remainder of the year.
There are a range of strikes already confirmed for January 2023, with a five-day period of rail walkouts and the resumption of NHS strikes involving ambulance workers and nurses. Train workers at 15 operators with the Aslef union to stage a 24-hour walkout.
When are the train strikes in October 2023? Train drivers represented by Aslef are striking on Wednesday, October 4. There will be almost no services operating on the day and services on days either side of the strike are likely to be affected too. In addition, there is a ban on overtime from October 2 to 6.
