What day to visit EPCOT?

Another one of the most popular questions we receive on this topic is, what is the best day of the week to go to EPCOT? As a general rule of thumb the best day of the week to visit EPCOT typically tends to be Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

In 2026, the best days to visit EPCOT are typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays. EPCOT is a "local favorite," especially during its near-constant rotation of festivals (like the International Flower & Garden Festival or Food & Wine). Consequently, the park sees a massive surge in crowds on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays when local residents and "weekend warriors" descend on the World Showcase for dining and drinks. Mondays can also be surprisingly busy as travelers begin their vacation week. By visiting mid-week, you'll likely find shorter wait times for headliners like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. If you must visit during a weekend, aim for early morning "rope drop" or late evening to avoid the peak mid-afternoon congestion.
