On Deck 6 are located 2 staterooms (plus 6 on Deck 5) that are oceanview but can be booked as Category 10 inside. Their views are from obstructed porthole windows. The obstructed view is by the canisters holding liferafts.
The Disney Wonder does have a waterslide! My son absolutely loves this slide and I just looked through some pictures from a recent trip on the Wonder and remember that he rode it countless times!

Crowded PoolsThe pools on the Disney cruise ships can get crowded. If you visit the pools during non-peak hours, it will help with the crowd levels. We like to use the pools in the morning or on port days. That being said, we don't really have an issue with the crowded pools.
However Disney Cruise Line does offer splash pads for young children in swim diapers to use. Nemo's Reef can be found on the Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream, Dory's Reef is on the Disney Wonder and the Nephew's Splash Pad is on the Disney Magic.
There's always something fun to do on Disney Wonder, from the game shows to on-deck performances and the three evening Broadway-style shows, including The Golden Mickeys, Frozen: A Musical Spectacular and Disney Dreams (which is guaranteed to make your eyes water a bit on your last night).
You will find that you do not need to bring towels from home, as there are many available poolside, and even at the ready as you step onto Castaway Cay.
