What do I need to show to get into Disneyland?

To enter a park, both a theme park reservation and valid park admission, for the same park on the same date, are required for Guests ages 3 and up. If you have a multi-day ticket or Magic Key pass, you must make a park reservation for each date of your visit.

To enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure in 2026, you must present two key pieces of information: a valid theme park ticket (or Magic Key pass) and a confirmed park reservation for that specific date. Since the post-pandemic era, Disney has maintained the reservation system to manage crowd levels, so showing up with just a ticket is not enough. You can show these via the Disneyland mobile app, a physical ticket card, or a linked MagicBand+. For certain ticket types, especially those for California residents or multi-day promotional passes, security or the front gate Cast Member may also ask to see a valid government-issued photo ID to verify your identity or residency. If you are using a "Park Hopper" ticket, you only need a reservation for the first park you plan to visit; after 11:00 AM (the 2026 hopping time), you can move to the other park without a second reservation, provided it has not reached capacity. Always double-check your "MyDisney" account the night before to ensure your tickets and reservations are properly linked and active.
