The basilicas's Dome is the highest point in Paris after the Eiffel Tower. A climb to the top will be worth it for the wonderful panoramic views across the heart of Paris. The showstopper of the interior of the Sacre Coeur is the huge mosaic of Jesus Christ above the altar.
