What do you wear to Disney Springs?

“Is there a dress code for Disney springs, or are you okay in shorts and vests/tshirts?” There is no dress code. Just dress comfortably.

Disney Springs does not have a formal dress code for its general shopping and entertainment areas, so "theme park casual" is the standard. Most visitors wear comfortable walking shoes, shorts, and T-shirts, especially during the humid Florida afternoons. However, because Disney Springs is home to several high-end "Signature Dining" restaurants like The Boathouse, STK Steakhouse, and Jaleo, you will see a mix of attire in the evening. If you plan on dining at an upscale venue, many guests opt for "resort casual"—think sundresses, polo shirts, or nice jeans and a blouse. Swimwear is strictly prohibited unless it is fully covered by appropriate clothing, and shoes and shirts must be worn at all times. It is also important to remember that Disney Springs is massive and requires a lot of walking on hard pavement, so even if you dress up for dinner, sensible footwear is highly recommended. In the winter months (December–February), Florida evenings can get surprisingly chilly, so bringing a light jacket or sweater is a wise move for when the sun goes down and the lake breeze picks up.

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. You should probably put a bra on and pass on wearing pajamas, but you do you! Personally, I am comfortable in an outfit that is simple, yet stylish. This could be a pair of comfy jeans and a cardigan, a maxi dress, or a pair of cropped pants and a casual top.

Floor-length Skirts or Dresses Make sure your skirt doesn't come close to the ground! They also aren't ideal for going on rides, since different ride vehicles have configurations that aren't comfortable if you have a skirt or dress on. We DEFINITELY wouldn't wear a wedding dress to the parks!

While shoes must be worn, there is no specific footwear requirement for attractions within Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, although skates or shoes with wheels are prohibited.
