For most international itineraries, a valid Passport (valid for at least six months past the end of the cruise) is mandatory. For "closed-loop" cruises departing and returning to the same U.S. port, U.S. citizens can use an original State-issued Birth Certificate and a government-issued photo ID. You must also have your Digital Port Arrival Form (available via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app) and any required "Minor Authorization Forms" if traveling with children who are not your own. If you are an international guest, you may also need a Visa or an ESTA depending on the ports of call. Disney utilizes a "Safe Passage" digital portal where these documents are uploaded and verified before you even arrive at the terminal to ensure a seamless boarding process.
