What does schedule mean in airport?

Scheduled (S) - A scheduled flight is one that is anticipated to depart and arrive according to either a published flight schedule or by filed flight plans. Statuses During Operation: Active (A) - A flight is set to Active when we receive the Actual Gate Departure time or Actual Runway Departure Time.
