American Airlines offers several "freebies" that vary by flight length and cabin. As of early 2026, one of the biggest upgrades is free high-speed Wi-Fi (sponsored by AT&T) for all AAdvantage members on nearly 100% of their domestic and regional fleet. In terms of snacks, all passengers receive complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and small snacks (like Biscoff cookies or pretzels). On long-haul international flights, everyone receives free meals and wine/beer, along with a pillow and blanket. For those in Business Class on select flagship routes (e.g., LAX to Sydney), American has brought back complimentary pajamas and premium bedding from Nest Bedding. Furthermore, all passengers can access a massive library of free in-flight entertainment, including movies and live TV, through their own devices or seatback screens, and T-Mobile customers often get additional free Wi-Fi and texting perks on most flights.
