Former Future World is now carved into three different neighborhoods: World Celebration, World Nature and World Discovery. World Showcase marks the fourth neighborhood. I think Future World was a concept that was difficult to understand.

There is no permanent closing date for Spaceship Earth yet, however, we expect that to be announced within the next few weeks. Once it closes, we expect construction to take multiple years to be completed. Don't expect these new EPCOT Star Wars ride to be open until at least 2026, potentially later.

EPCOT Forever will return to Walt Disney World as an interim show on April 3 2023, following the final performance of Harmonious on April 2. The first version of EPCOT Forever which debuted on October 1 2019 featured fireworks and stunt kites. and played until Walt Disney World's closure in 2020.

In fact, there are lots of family-friendly attractions that you can enjoy with a toddler on your lap like Jungle Cruise, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Frozen Ever After, just to name a few.
2023 marks the end of its transformation with Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, opening Oct. 16. World Celebration will also be completed in December with a new statue of Walt Disney in an area called Dreamers Point and a new exhibition space called CommuniCore Hall.
Crunching the NumbersThe panels are made of a material called Alucobond, which is essentially a sheet of polyethylene plastic sandwiched between two thin sheets of aluminum. The Alucobond website says that each panel of aluminum is 0.5mm thick, which is 0.02” thick aluminum.
