What happened to the Universe of Energy dinosaurs?

July 15, 2017 — Disney confirms that the Universe of Energy pavilion will close and be replaced by a Guardians of the Galaxy themed attraction. August 13, 2017 — The Universe of Energy pavilion has its last day of operation. During the final show, the attraction broke down, forcing guests to evacuate mid-show.

The dinosaurs from the Universe of Energy (later Ellen's Energy Adventure) at Epcot were permanently removed and largely decommissioned when the attraction closed in August 2017 to make way for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. During the final "ride" on the attraction's last day, a power failure caused a guest evacuation, allowing fans to take rare photos walking alongside the Audio-Animatronic figures. Following the closure, a few of the dinosaur figures were reportedly moved to other Disney properties or placed in long-term storage at "Central Shop," Disney's massive maintenance and storage facility. However, the majority of the prehistoric diorama was demolished to accommodate the massive new show building required for the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster. While rumors occasionally surface that some figures were sent to the DINOSAUR attraction at Animal Kingdom, that ride uses a different, more advanced generation of animatronics. For most fans, the Universe of Energy dinosaurs now live on only in the many "Easter eggs" found in the new attraction's queue and in the nostalgic memories of Epcot's classic era.

As the fabric of the Universe expands, the wavelengths of any radiation present will get stretched as well. This applies just as well to gravitational waves as it does to electromagnetic waves; any form of radiation has its wavelength stretched (and loses energy) as the Universe expands.
