What happened to the zebras at animal Kingdom?

A zebra at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge died Thursday morning after it ran full-speed into a gate. Guests told WESH 2 News they saw the young zebra run into a gate after it was spooked by two ostriches and saw employees trying to save the animal's life.

Following a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) inspection of the park, it was revealed that 31 animals died at Animal Kingdom between September 1997 and April 1998 from accidents, poisonings, fights, and other causes.
