Non-alcoholic drinks and waters are totally something you can bring into Disney, it's even encouraged! It is so nice to have a drink on hand whenever you need to quench your thirst. You can bring refillable water bottles and refill them at water stations throughout the parks.
They do not shut down attractions during parades and fireworks, unless fireworks are scheduled at/or after park closing time. This sometimes occurs with Wishes and Fantasmic. Some rides have a shorter park schedule than park hours, however this depends on travel dates.
However, when planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort, expect lower crowds from mid-September through mid-November (before the Thanksgiving break). Mid-January through mid-March is another time when potentially lower crowds are expected.

Currently, the Disneyland Resort doesn't offer discounted admission if you arrive after a certain time of day. Theme-park tickets are sold on a daily basis, from one day up to five days.
The park employs an array of security cameras to ensure the safety of visitors and protect its assets. There are cameras almost everywhere on Disney World property, including rides and attractions. This level of surveillance might leave some visitors feeling uneasy, as their every move is monitored throughout the park.
Whenever you're thirsty, stop by one of our many water fountains—located throughout the Resort, including outside of most restrooms. If you wish to use disposable cups at drinking fountains, feel free to request them from the nearest restaurant or snack shop at no extra charge.
Suitcases, bags, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24 long x 15 wide x 18 high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed in any theme park. Loose or dry ice is not permitted in these containers. Re-usable ice packs are recommended.
You can bring your bag or backpack on almost every single ride at Disney Parks. With the exception of a couple attractions, every ride at Disney will have a small pouch for you to stow your backpack, or space at your feet. Your trusty bag can take on all the adventures Disney has to offer with you!

Your princess is in luck though, the attire policies at the Disneyland Resort allow guests under the age of 14 to wear costumes in the park! Sadly, wearing a costume doesn't cover park admission.
Two full days at Disneyland is enough to authentically experience the park. If your goal is to ride as many attractions as you can, you'll see that the 58 rides would take you 14 hours each day! That is however based on an average 30 min wait time.
Disneyland is great for kids over the age of 7.So if you have 4 kids, 2 of which are under 7, you may have to watch which rides you can do. For my family, this meant that my oldest two (ages 9 and 10) could ride rides together while an adult rode with the younger kids (ages 2, 4, and 6).
While two days is a great amount of time to see most things the parks have to offer, it will not allow you to fully experience to parks. Disney if full of live entertainment, characters, attractions, and delicious food. We recommend a 4-5 day trip to enjoy everything the parks have to offer.
