What happens at Disneyland on Christmas?

In Holiday Magic Fireworks, Christmas in Cars Land, Viva Navidad, and more will all be back. Guests will discover some new seasonal food and beverage offerings throughout Disneyland, Disney California Adventure Park, the Downtown Disney District, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland Hotel.

Christmas at Disneyland Resort in 2026 is a massive, multi-sensory celebration running from mid-November through early January. The park features the iconic "A Christmas Fantasy Parade" and the "Believe... in Holiday Magic" fireworks spectacular, which concludes with a magical "snowfall" on Main Street, U.S.A. Several attractions receive seasonal overlays, most notably "it's a small world" Holiday and the Haunted Mansion Holiday (themed after The Nightmare Before Christmas). Over at Disney California Adventure, the Festival of Holidays showcases diverse seasonal traditions through live music and the "Festive Foods Marketplace," offering global holiday bites. In 2026, the resort has also integrated 70th-anniversary elements into the decor, with Mickey and friends sporting "platinum-holiday" attire. Santa Claus holds meet-and-greets at the Fantasyland Theatre, and the "World of Color - Season of Light" nighttime show uses water, fire, and light to tell heartwarming holiday stories set to classic Disney music.
