The Walt Disney World Monorail system physically "goes through" one specific hotel and makes stops at two others on the "Resort Loop." The Disney's Contemporary Resort is the iconic A-frame building where the monorail actually travels through the center of the Grand Canyon Concourse, allowing guests in the lobby to see the trains passing overhead. The monorail also stops at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, though the track runs along the exterior of these buildings rather than through them. These three "Deluxe" resorts are situated around the Seven Seas Lagoon and offer the most direct, "door-to-door" access to the Magic Kingdom. While the monorail also connects to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) for transfers to the EPCOT line, the Contemporary remains the only hotel in the world designed with a functional train station located directly inside the main guest building.
