What if I miss my Tron virtual queue?

The virtual queue first opens at 7AM to guests who have a Park Pass reservation for Magic Kingdom, then opens again at 1PM to guests who are inside Magic Kingdom. So if you miss the first drop, you can try again for the second.

If you miss your called "Boarding Group" for TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom, the official policy is that your entry is no longer guaranteed. Disney’s virtual queue system is designed to manage flow and minimize wait times, so they expect guests to arrive within one hour of their group being called. However, Disney Cast Members are often known for their "guest recovery" and may allow you to enter if you have a valid reason, such as being stuck on another ride, having a dining reservation that ran long, or experiencing a documented transportation delay. It is crucial to speak politely to the Cast Member at the entrance and, if possible, show proof of the conflict (like a digital receipt or a screenshot of a ride breakdown). If you are significantly late—several hours past your window—they are much more likely to turn you away. If you miss your morning (7:00 AM) slot entirely and cannot get in, you have a second chance to join the virtual queue at 1:00 PM, provided you are physically inside Magic Kingdom. Alternatively, you can bypass the virtual queue issues altogether by purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane entry, which allows for a more flexible arrival window during the day.

The attraction's limited capacity means too many guests missing their reservation time could prevent guests later in the day from riding, so guests are encouraged to arrive during their reservation window. Those who miss their window by a significant time may not be allowed to ride the attraction.
