The Blue Ice Caves are formed naturally every winter. Like all ice caves, they begin as crevices in the glacier. As the glacier melts, water finds its way into these crevices, making them expand and melt faster than the glacier itself.

By far the highlight of our trip!! It was amazing to see the naturally formed Ice Cave. There weren't that many people when we got there so we had amazing photo opportunities. The drive to the cave was scenic and our driver was amazing at navigating the roads.

I couldn't possibly give this tour anything but glowing reviews! The guides were friendly and the destination was stunning. The tour was a little more extreme than the website indicates (there were crampons and helmets, and crawling on hands and knees), but I wouldn't have had it any other way. What a great experience!
