What is a secure flight number?

Members of the Department of Homeland Security's Trusted Traveler Programs, like TSA PreCheck® and Global Entry®, can add their Known Traveler Number to their reservation to prevent watch list matching errors. The number will be entered into the TSA's Secure Flight system and used during the pre-screening process.
