Economy is the standard, main cabin fare. Whether or not you get meal service depends entirely on the airline and your exact flight. Unless you have a preferred credit card or status with your airline of choice, you are generally permitted one carry-on plus a personal item, but you'll have to pay for checked bags.
Basic Economy is a ticket type that allows travelers to sit in the Main Cabin, with limited amenities and no advance seat allocation. Basic Economy ticket holders will be assigned seats in the Main Cabin within 24 hours of departure, or at check-in, and users will not be able to designate which seat they sit in.
Economy seats may also be called coach, standard or main cabin seats. These seats are generally narrower than in other classes (from about 40 to 48 centimetres wide). The distance between seats (front to back) ranges from 76 inches to 86 centimetres so there is less legroom than in Business or First class.
On a passenger jetliner, first class usually refers to a limited number (rarely more than 10) of seats or cabins toward the front of the aircraft which have more space, comfort, service, and privacy.
Passengers that fly First class can expect a superior experience with plenty of legroom, reclining seats, meal choices, full bar service or bartender, in-flight entertainment and Wi-Fi. It is a very comfortable and luxurious experience for each passenger who gets personal attention from flight staff.
Economy Class cabins are broken down into two categories. “Regular Economy” and “Premium Economy.” Economy Class seating is the most basic of accommodations.
