What is Club Access Award?

Room upgrade and Club Lounge access awards are valid when paying an eligible rate or when redeeming points for a free night or Points + Cash award at a participating location. All Milestone Rewards are subject to important restrictions on earning and use.

The Club Access Award is a specific Milestone Choice reward within the "World of Hyatt" loyalty program. In 2026, members earn their first set of two awards after reaching 20 "Tier-Qualifying Nights" or 35,000 Base Points in a calendar year. These awards allow a guest to access the Regency Club or Grand Club lounge at participating Hyatt hotels even if they have booked a standard room. These lounges provide significant value, offering complimentary breakfast, all-day snacks, evening hors d'oeuvres, and sometimes alcoholic beverages. A single award is valid for the entire duration of a stay (up to seven nights). It is important to note that these awards cannot be used at properties that do not have a physical lounge, such as many Hyatt Place or Hyatt House locations. Additionally, because Globalist-tier members receive unlimited club access as a standard benefit, these awards are most valuable for Discoverist and Adventurer-tier members looking to "bridge the gap" to a luxury experience without the high nightly cost of a club-level suite.
