What is comfort plus on Delta?

Delta Comfort+ fares are booked in W Class. Delta Comfort+ customers will enjoy: More legroom and on select longer flights, extra recline. Premium snacks and complimentary Starbucks®, beer, wine and spirits on most flights* Seat location toward the front of the plane which means customers are among the first off.

Delta Comfort+ is a "premium economy-lite" seating tier positioned between the standard Main Cabin and First Class. In 2026, the primary benefit remains extra legroom, typically providing 3 to 4 inches of additional pitch compared to standard seats. Beyond the space, Comfort+ passengers enjoy priority boarding (usually in the third group, right after First Class and Diamond Medallion members) and dedicated overhead bin space, ensuring you don't have to gate-check your carry-on. On the service side, you receive upgraded snacks (like premium jerky or fruit bars) and, most notably, complimentary beer, wine, and spirits on flights over 250–500 miles, which is a major perk for domestic travelers. On long-haul international flights, Comfort+ guests also receive a basic amenity kit, a pillow, and a blanket. It is essentially an "upgraded economy" experience designed for travelers who want a bit more physical breathing room and a few "luxury" touches without paying the significantly higher price of a First Class or Delta One ticket.
