What is Disney Princess Night?

At these special ticketed after-hours events, Guests can enjoy themed photo opportunities, rare characters meet and greets, specialty foods, and drinks, as well as live entertainment and so much more. Recently, I attended the first-ever Princess Nite at Disneyland – and I'm sharing my perspective on the experience.

This year, the party started at 9 PM and ended at 1 AM. However, the tickets allowed us to enter the park at 6 PM. We decided to show up early and they ended up letting us enter around 5:30 PM.

Character Dining Enjoy a magical dining experience, meeting Cinderella in the majestic Grand Hall and other Disney princesses in the Banquet Hall above. Step inside a medieval castle for a memorable meal. You may see—or even meet—Princess Tiana, Ariel, Belle, Snow White and Aurora.

Depending on what season you go to Disney World, you'll want either shorts or comfortable stretchy jeans/pants. Black leggings are a great go-to for comfort and durability. During the summer months, always opt for shorter bottoms. A note: You do not have to wear only pants/shorts to Disney world!

Floor-length Skirts or Dresses Make sure your skirt doesn't come close to the ground! They also aren't ideal for going on rides, since different ride vehicles have configurations that aren't comfortable if you have a skirt or dress on. We DEFINITELY wouldn't wear a wedding dress to the parks!

At the parks, a special GKTW button and a Walt Disney World Wishes Pass provides the families with an alternate entrance to all of the rides, allowing families to fully enjoy the attractions offered at each park. Disney even provides a Wish Lounge located at Magic Kingdom.
