What is Disney using instead of MagicBands?

MagicBands at Disney World. MagicBand+ is the hot new thing at Walt Disney World, but it's not the only option for entering the parks and other features. MagicMobile is a service that uses your phone or other smart devices, and can be a convenient alternative to Magic Bands.

You can use your phone. Create a Magic Mobile pass within the My Disney Experience app. As long as you're using your phone to only scan in YOURSELF (meaning not you AND the other members of your party), then it should be fine. It might be slower than using a MagicBand, but it still works.

Instead of a wristband, you'll get a hotel key-sized card that can be used to scan into your room, the parks, and any Lightning Lane reservations. And as long as your credit card is connected to your MDE account, you can also use the Key to the World card to charge purchases to your resort room-just like a MagicBand!
