What is flexible dining on Royal Caribbean?

My Time Dining is one of the options you'll get to choose from when you book your cruise. Unlike traditional dining — where a dining time is assigned to you — guests who opt for My Time Dining can eat in the Main Dining Room anytime they like during dinner hours, according to availability.

Flexible dining on Royal Caribbean is officially known as "My Time Dining." This program allows guests to bypass the traditional "Early" (around 5:30 PM) or "Late" (around 8:00 PM) fixed seating times in the Main Dining Room. With My Time Dining, you have the freedom to eat whenever you choose during the dining room's operating hours, typically between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM. This is ideal for travelers who want to stay longer at the pool or coordinate their meals around the evening's theater shows. You can make reservations for a specific time each day via the Royal Caribbean app, or you can simply walk up and wait for the next available table, much like a standard restaurant on land. While it offers more freedom, the trade-off is that you may not have the same waiter every night, which some passengers miss if they enjoy the personalized service of traditional dining. It is also worth noting that you must prepay your gratuities to be eligible for the My Time Dining option at the time of booking.
