What is happening at Disneyland December 2023?

Mickey and his friends will be wearing all-new outfits in Disneyland Park to celebrate the season. Santa will also be visiting and you can pose for photos with him through December 24. There will be holiday shopping and dining in Downtown Disney, and live musical performances at the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage.

In December 2023, Disneyland Resort in California hosted its massive annual "Holidays at the Disneyland Resort" celebration. The event transformed both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure into winter wonderlands. Key highlights included the "A Christmas Fantasy" Parade and the nightly "Believe... In Holiday Magic" fireworks spectacular, which featured a magical "snowfall" on Main Street, U.S.A. Over at California Adventure, the "Festival of Holidays" celebrated diverse cultural traditions through "Disney Festival of Holidays" marketplaces serving seasonal food and beverages. The park also featured the "Disney ¡Viva Navidad!" street party. Iconic attractions received their famous holiday overlays, most notably "it's a small world" Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday, the latter featuring Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. For many guests, the highlight was seeing the Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle, adorned with thousands of twinkling LED icicles and festive wreaths. This period marked one of the busiest and most festive times in the park's history, as families gathered to celebrate the final weeks of the "Disney100" anniversary celebration alongside the traditional holiday offerings.
