What is happening with the Six Flags New Orleans site?

The developer charged with bringing new life to the shuttered Six Flags theme park site in New Orleans East just got a major stamp of approval. The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners approved the Bayou Phoenix master plan, marking a big step forward in the revitalization of the area.
