What is imagine key or dream key?

The Imagine Key was the entry-level tier while the Dream Key went for $1,399. The Dream Key, only for California residents, included no blockout dates, meaning Dream Key Holders could theoretically visit Disneyland every single day.

These terms refer to tiers in the Disneyland Magic Key program, the modern version of the Annual Pass. The Imagine Key is the most affordable tier, specifically available only to Southern California residents. It offers the most blockout dates and allows you to hold up to two theme park reservations at a time. The Dream Key was the original top-tier, all-access pass when the program launched; however, in a 2022 shake-up, it was officially retired and replaced by the Inspire Key. As of 2026, the Inspire Key is the highest level, offering the most flexibility, the fewest blockout dates (usually only around Christmas/New Year), and the ability to hold up to six reservations at once. These keys are designed to provide regular access to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, along with specialized perks like discounts on merchandise, dining, and Genie+ (now Lightning Lane Multi Pass) selections.
