What is included in the Oogie Boogie Bash?

Oogie Boogie Bash is a special extra-ticket event held select nights at at Disney California Adventure during the Halloween season. The party includes an exclusive Halloween parade with an appearance by a horseback-riding headless horseman, trick-or-treating, and more.

If you have a regular theme park ticket for a day that includes Oogie Boogie Bash (and not a ticket for the event), you will be escorted out at 6:00pm. You may visit Disneyland at this point if you have a park hopper ticket.

Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween party tickets are totally separate from regular park admission media. If you have a one day/one park ticket, you're welcome to visit Disneyland in the morning and then Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween party in the evening using a Party ticket. This would not count as a “Park Hop.”

It's All About the Costumes! Seeing people's different costumes is one of my favorite things about the Oogie Boogie Bash. There are some really creative and intricate costumes. Both kids AND adults can dress up for the Oogie Boogie Bash. This is special as adults cannot usually wear costumes inside the park.

While the party officially begins at 6PM, ticketed guests can enter the park as early as 3PM. Regular park guests were still around at this time, so it felt pretty busy! Oogie Boogie Bash is completely sold out (including tonight's party), and we can definitely tell by these crowds.

Unfortunately, Oogie Boogie Bash is a separate ticketed event (and a popular one at that), so Guests without a ticket for the event will have to exit the Theme Park when it closes for the event at 6 pm even if they have a standard Theme Park ticket. I hope this was helpful!

To answer your question, little Mousketeers under the age of three do not require an admission ticket for the Oogie Boogie Bash. They can join in on all the Halloween fun with the family without needing a separate ticket. I'm sure your little one will have an absolutely magical time at the event!
