What is new in Disneyland Paris 2024?

As part of the ongoing transformation of Disneyland Paris, the iconic five-star Disneyland Hotel is being royally “reimagined!” When it reopens in the first quarter of 2024, the Disneyland Hotel will become the very first Disney Hotel to bring guests on a majestic journey celebrating Disney royalty.

The year 2024 marked a major transitional phase for Disneyland Paris, highlighted by the grand reopening of the Disneyland Hotel, which underwent a massive "royal" reimagining inspired by classics like Frozen, Sleeping Beauty, and The Little Mermaid. On the entertainment side, the resort debuted "Disney Electrical Sky Parade," a breathtaking drone-based nighttime show over Sleeping Beauty Castle that pays homage to the original Main Street Electrical Parade. In the Walt Disney Studios Park (renamed Disney Adventure World), 2024 saw the launch of "Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland," a high-energy stunt and music show at the Theater of the Stars. This period also served as the final countdown for the massive expansion projects including World of Frozen and the first-ever Lion King-themed land, both of which are central to the resort's multi-year transformation strategy.

It has the fairytale castle, classic characters, and plenty of rides and attractions. Walt Disney Studios Park is much smaller and is one of Disney's weaker parks. But it has a couple of excellent rides and is home to the new Marvel Avengers Campus, so it's worth visiting both parks on a day visit.
