What is not included on CocoCay?

Adrenaline seekers will find an upcharge for Thrill Waterpark, the Zipline and CocoCay's Up, Up and Away balloon ride. Shore excursions such as kayaking, parasailing or swimming with pigs will also incur a charge. Beach rentals of snorkel equipment or floating mats are available onsite at CocoCay for a surcharge.

While a "Perfect Day at CocoCay" includes most beaches, pools, and five dining spots, several premium experiences in 2026 require an additional fee. Not included are the Thrill Waterpark (featuring the Daredevil's Peak slide), the Up, Up and Away helium balloon, and the Zip Line. Private cabanas and daybeds also carry high rental costs. While basic food is free, "Captain Jack’s" and the "Coco Beach Club" specialty dining require payment. Importantly, the Hideaway Beach (the adults-only paradise) often requires a cover charge unless your specific cruise fare includes it. Drinks are not included unless you have a beverage package from the ship. There is no dedicated Adventure Ocean kids' program on the island; families must use the onboard facilities if they want drop-off childcare. For 2026 cruisers, it is a best practice to book these "add-ons" via the Royal Caribbean app before sailing, as prices often spike on the day of arrival.
