"Stacking" is a pro-level strategy used at Disney World and Disneyland to maximize the Lightning Lane Multi Pass system. The goal is to accumulate multiple high-demand ride reservations for later in the day, creating a "stack" of back-to-back experiences with minimal waiting. This is possible because of the "two-hour rule": after you book your first Lightning Lane, you can book a second one either after you tap into the first ride OR after 120 minutes have passed since your last booking. By starting early—typically at 7:00 AM—and booking a popular ride for the evening (like Slinky Dog Dash), you can then book another ride every two hours throughout the day without actually using the first one yet. By 4:00 PM, you could have four or five Lightning Lanes ready to use in a single block of time. This strategy is particularly effective for visitors who prefer to spend their mornings enjoying low-wait "standby" lines or taking a mid-day break at their hotel, only returning to the park in the evening to "burn through" their stack of reserved attractions with virtually no wait.
