Drivers cannot drive after they have reached 60/70 hours of ON-Duty time in 7/8 consecutive days. A driver may gain back time at midnight when the oldest day in his 8-day window falls out of the time range. To completely reset the 70-hour clock, it requires a 34-hour restart.
