We also felt the park felt fresher and better maintained than Windsor, despite being older. I am not sure we would feel two days in Windsor worthwhile, but I would certainly recommend two in Billund. We waited until our kids were 8 and 10, which seems to be the perfect age to appreciate Legoland (including MiniLand) and be able to ride all the rides.

While kids between 4 and 8 will enjoy the attractions of the Legoredo town, Pirate Land and Knight's Kingdom, Polar Land is suited to slightly older children. As soon as you enter the park, you'll notice Miniland all around your feet with its miniature buildings, trains and boats, all made of Lego.

Nice place to spend 1 day with your kids. In my opinion it's for kinds max 8-9 yrs old. The food everywhere is fast food and heavy, might want to carry some healthy staff for your kids.

Also we didn't enjoy any discount buying at the main store at the Legoland itself, the price is same compared to lego store in Copenhagen. The advantage is probably the Legoland store is larger and has more choice. The price at Billund airport lego shop was comparatively cheaper with tax free.

No, it's not nearly as crowded, which is one of the reasons we go there. We found the best time to go is during the week as opposed to weekends, so if you can manage a non-holiday Monday visit, you'll likely be thrilled at the lack of wait times. Helpful? WE found Legoland to be MUCH less crowded than Disney.

So you can do LEGOLAND in 1 day, and rush through everything, or 2 days, and take your time. The benefit of taking your time is that you can see the shows, play with the Legos, play on the structures, etc and not feel pressured.
