What is the best time to arrive at Disneyland Paris?

If you want to make the most of your day by avoiding visitor traffic at Disneyland, get up as early as possible. The park opens to the public at 10:00 am. You should keep that time in mind and arrive as early as you can to be among the first through the gates.

The best time to arrive at Disneyland Paris is at least 45 to 60 minutes before the official park opening time, a strategy commonly known as "rope dropping." This early arrival allows you to clear the security checkpoints—which are located outside the Disney Village and the train station—well before the gates open. If you are staying at a Disney-themed hotel, you should take advantage of "Extra Magic Time," which typically grants you entry an hour before the general public. This is the most valuable hour of the day, allowing you to ride headliner attractions like Big Thunder Mountain or Crush’s Coaster with minimal waits. If you are a day visitor, arriving early ensures you are at the front of the turnstiles so you can head straight to your top-priority ride as soon as the park opens. Conversely, if you aren't an early riser, another strategic arrival time is late afternoon; after 4:00 PM, many families with young children begin to depart, and the wait times for major rides often dip during the evening parade and fireworks, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for those who plan to stay until the park closes at night.

I believe a conservative food budget (which is how we do it) is about $100/day, but you could obviously spend a lot more than that. For us, each meal (for 4 of us) costs around $60 (except when we make reservations, and those meals are usually double that), and I splurge on some snacks at around $40 each day.
