If you are staying at a Disney Resort, parking is complimentary, and you should use the resort buses or the Skyliner if your resort is on the line (like Riviera or Art of Animation), as the Skyliner drops you at the International Gateway entrance, bypassing the main gate entirely. If you are driving your own car and want the shortest walk, paying for Preferred Parking ($45-$55) puts you in the "Amaze" or "Journey" lots closest to the entrance. Its about a 15 minute walk from the Epcot parking lot to bag check and then the gates. For AK and HS,it is more like 10 minutes. For the MK,we get there early and park up front;then take the ferry from the parking lot to the gate. That takes about 20-30 minutes and is really thrilling.
