Deptford High Street in the borough of Lewisham, south-east London, has been named one of the 33 coolest streets in the world, following a vote by Time Out magazine. Ranking the area alongside roads in San Francisco, Bangkok and Mexico City, it was described by the magazine as the most alive street in London.
