What is the DAS return time window?

It offers a one-hour return window for two experiences planned in advance. Only select experiences apply in each Disney World theme park, but you can see which ones are eligible online. DAS Advance return windows can be reserved starting 30 days before your visit date and must be selected at least two days ahead.

In 2026, the Disability Access Service (DAS) at Disney World and Disneyland does not have a "return window" in the traditional sense; once your return time is issued, it is valid until the park closes or the attraction shuts down for the day. For example, if the app gives you a return time of 2:00 PM, you can show up at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM, or even 8:00 PM to ride. You are never "late" for a DAS time. However, there is a 10-minute waiting rule between uses: you cannot book your next DAS return time until 10 minutes after you have scanned into your current attraction. This ensures that the system is used fairly and prevents guests from "stockpiling" multiple times. Keep in mind that as of 2024/2025, Disney tightened DAS eligibility to focus primarily on developmental disabilities like autism; guests with mobility issues are now typically directed to use the standard wheelchair-accessible queues instead.

I highly recommend utilizing the DAS Advance process before your trip. Our trip will be at a crowded time in the parks, and not having to head to guest services is certainly a plus. The fact that the wait times in the virtual queue are lower makes it much easier on families to be able to plan for this process.

Actually, when the Virtual Queue system is used, DAS doesn't change that much, but there are still some things to keep in mind. Guests using DAS still must use the virtual queue to get a boarding pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Guests cannot skip the virtual queue just because they are using DAS.
