Economy Classic is the least expensive and allows one flight change and cancellation within 24-hours of departure without penalty fees and no seat selection choice. Economy Convenience is similar to Economy Classic but allows a maximum of two flight changes.

Qatar Airways offers an "unbundled" fare structure for Business Class in 2026 to provide more choice at different price points. Business Classic (typically "R" fare) is the entry-level premium option; while it still features the world-famous lie-flat seats (or Qsuite, depending on the aircraft) and the 5-star on-board dining, it excludes advance seat selection and, most importantly, does not include lounge access unless you have elite status with Privilege Club or Oneworld. You can, however, purchase lounge access as an add-on. Business Convenience (typically "I" or "D" fare) is the "standard" experience that most business travelers expect. It includes complimentary advance seat selection and provides full access to Qatar’s luxurious lounges, such as the Al Mourjan Business Lounge in Doha. The "Convenience" fare also generally offers more flexibility for changes or cancellations and a higher "Avios" earning rate. Essentially, "Classic" is for those who want the luxury of the seat itself at a lower price, while "Convenience" is for those who want the full "ground-to-air" premium experience.
