Delta Comfort Plus is a seat upgrade from the main cabin that offers up to 3 inches of additional legroom and dedicated overhead luggage space. Conversely, Delta Premium Select seats let passengers stretch out with a reclining feature, wider seat, footrest and premium amenities.

One guest is allowed but they must also be traveling in first class. Delta elites (with at least Gold status) cannot get into Sky Clubs if they are flying in economy (called Main Cabin or Delta Comfort Plus), but they can visit Delta partner-operated lounges or SkyTeam airline lounges.
So, is Delta Comfort Plus worth it? The answer is entirely up to you. If you value extra legroom, space for your luggage and complimentary booze, then yes, it's worth spending the extra money.
Weight restrictions at no extra charge vary by cabin. Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Delta Comfort+ and Delta Premium Select passengers should follow the standard 50 lb limit per piece. Delta One, First, and Business passengers should follow the 70 lb limit per piece.
Like Delta Premium Select, Comfort Plus falls between economy class and business classes. Although it shares some benefits with economy class, it also offers distinct upgrades at an affordable price.
Effective February 2, 2023, Delta Sky Club access is no longer extended to Delta Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Medallion Members when flying in Main Cabin or Delta Comfort+ internationally.
