What is the difference between Disney Genie and Genie+?

Disney Genie is a new free service that any park guest, regardless of annual pass status or resort stay, has access to through the (also free) My Disney Experience app (or the Disneyland app over in California). Disney Genie+, however, is a PAID service.

I think genie plus is pretty good if you don't mind the money and are fast at making your lightning lanes, but some rides just aren't on genie plus, and that's the individual lightning lanes. So if you dont mind the cost i'd purchase genie plus and the individual lightning lanes as you go.

Genie Plus is definitely worth it for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and if you don't like early starts, you might consider it for Epcot and Animal Kingdom. If you are park hopping, Genie+ is even better value as it maximises the number of rides you have access to.
