What is the difference between Terminal A and B at Orlando Airport?

Terminal A and B are just the two sides of the building; the doors (and airline counters) on the north are called A and the doors (and airline counters) on the south side are called B. You can just walk around in the building, once inside, the difference does no longer exist.

Most (but again, not all) airports connect international terminals airside. When you're connecting from an international flight to a domestic one, you'll always have to exit and reenter security as you'll need to go through customs and immigration (unless you have gone through preclearance aboard, which is rare).
