What is the difference between the New Port and the old port in Mykonos?

Mykonos now has two ports:the old port in Mykonos Town, and the new port at Tourlos, about 1 mile north of Mykonos Town. Check before you travel which port your boat will use. Most of the ferries use the new port. The highspeed catamaran services still use the old port in Mykonos Town.
