Dress CodeJust like pretty much any other major church in Italy, the Duomo of Siena asks you to dress modestly when visiting the church. As a general rule, this means that your knees and shoulders should be covered.

The cathedral forbids entry to anybody wearing sandals, sunglasses, or hats, or anyone with their legs or shoulders exposed. Plunging necklines, skirts, and shorts should altogether be avoided.
