What is the dress code for the runDisney?

All participants may dress as their favorite character, but must follow these guidelines as determined solely by runDisney: Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent. Participants 14 and older may not wear costume masks of any kind.

For everyone's safety, selfie sticks, baby joggers, strollers, baby carriers, backpacks, skates, scooters, bicycles, skateboards, and animals of any kind are prohibited from the course and event staging areas. Violators will be removed from the course and transported to the finish line area.

Pacing Requirements Must maintain a minimum of 16-minutes-per-mile pace for all participants for all race distances. A training pace of 15-minutes-per-mile pace is recommended.

Yes, walkers are welcome in a runDisney event. Just be sure to maintain the minimum-pacing requirement for the race you're participating in when walking. If you fall short, no worries! Our shuttle will be along to pick you up at a safe location along the course.

To perform your best, start your warm-up 40 to 50 minutes before the race. You can begin in the parking lot and be ready by the time you reach the start line: Walk slowly for 5 minutes, followed by a normal walking pace for 5 more. Do 10 minutes of the Run-Walk-Run method.

A: Guests are allowed to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverages into the parks for self-consumption, provided they are not in glass containers, do not require heating, reheating, processing or refrigeration and do not have pungent odors.
