Do Eurostar check names on tickets?
Passport control is a totally separate process, and passport control only wants to see passports. On board Eurostar, staff don't check tickets (because you've already scanned yours in to get entry to the departure lounge and platforms), let alone ask names.

Do carers go free with a disabled railcard?
Carers/personal assistants do not travel free on trains. If you are entitled to a disabled railcard or one of these discounts, then a person travelling with you is entitled to the same discount. A person may be able to travel with you for free within a local authority on an ENCTS bus pass.
Can you talk on the phone on Eurostar?
Laptops and mobile phones can be used throughout the journey, so there's no need to switch them off or change any settings before you board.
How strict are Eurostar with luggage?
On Eurostar there's no weight limit for your luggage, but you must be able to carry and lift your bags safely on your own, as there is no porter service at the station and our teams are unfortunately unable to help with luggage. Each bag can be up to 85cm long at its widest point and should be clearly labelled.
